RESN: May 1st, 9am. A Regional Employer Support Network presentation entitled “Age Wave: Introduction to What Employers Need to Know to Survive the Aging of the Workforce” is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The session is free and open to all who are interested in learning about the topic. Presenting will be Debbie Drinkard Grovum, Transition Institute Director, Northwest Technical College, Bemidji.
Safety: May 21, 11:30 am. “Developing and Maintaining a Safety Culture.” The program, presented by the Northern Minnesota Safety Council, will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. A $25 fee will be charged to cover the price of materials and lunch. Advance registration is encouraged in order to guarantee lunch and materials. A registration form is also available at www.cri-bsu.org.
Presenting will be Donald Hejna, environmental health and safety manager, Wood Products, Potlatch Forest Products Corporation.
