This course is designed to help analyze the needs of a business when creating a new position or filling an existing position. Participants in this course will develop a job description, look for ways to improve your job application and create an ad posting the position. The course will also provide opportunities to walk through the job interview process, create job-appropriate interview questions and help develop strategies to evaluate applicants. This course will also cover a variety of other topics related to recruiting and hiring.

Instructor: Ms. Lyndi Odegard graduated from Bemidji State University with a B.A. in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Management. She has worked in the banking industry for 5 years. Having worked for a major corporation and privately owned small businesses, Odegard has experienced personal HR as well as "cookie cutter" HR and believes the personal will get businesses further.
